Class Notes: Underhand Ward

This module examines the application of Versetzen using a häwen to the Läger of Stier. Beginning with the posture of Mittelhut, and expanding to other Läger, students will learn how to defend themselves from a variety of attacks using Stier as well as the appropriate nachschlag work.

Newer students will be introduced to the foundational techniques, and senior students will work on details of timing and footwork.

So put your right foot forward and hold your messer in an angle the point is downwards. As soon as he hits from above, shoot up your Messer and displace him. Then jump to his right side in the triangle and hit him at his head or stab him.
